About

About IRB 6760

ABB IRB 6760 is a floor-mounted six-axis robot designed for high-duty press tending and heavy material handling. The 200/3.2 configuration carries 200 kilograms over a 3.2-metre reach, while the 150/3.5 trades payload for a 3.5-metre envelope. ABB rates the platform for up to 15 press strokes per minute and reinforces axes one and six for the repeated acceleration and loading found in fast press lines.

Both variants use the OmniCore controller and share major modules with ABB’s newer large-robot range. The current datasheet specifies IP67 protection, floor mounting, position repeatability of 0.06 or 0.08 millimetres, and path repeatability of 0.12 or 0.10 millimetres for the two configurations. The same reach and load envelope supports material handling, assembly and packaging cells when the application does not require press tending.
