About

About IRB 910INV

IRB 910INV is ABB's ceiling-mounted SCARA robot family for small-part automation in compact cells. The inverted installation keeps the floor and work surface clear while the arm performs assembly, testing, pick-and-place, screw driving, component insertion and quality-inspection workflows.

The family couples payload and reach by model: one configuration handles 3 kg across 350 mm, while the larger version handles 6 kg across 550 mm. Up to 16 integrated I/O channels support peripheral equipment, and the OmniCore E10 controller provides motion control and cell connectivity. The overhead architecture is aimed at electronics and other high-throughput manufacturing lines where usable cell area is constrained.
