AgileX T-REX 2.0 is a wheeled-legged development robot combining multimodal locomotion, binocular depth perception, lidar and NVIDIA edge compute.
About
AgileX T-REX 2.0 is a compact wheeled-legged research platform built around a closed-chain five-bar linkage. It travels at up to one metre per second, carries one kilogram and runs for about two hours. Wheel motion supports efficient travel, while the articulated legs change body posture and negotiate uneven terrain.
High-frame-rate binocular depth cameras and 360-degree lidar provide surrounding geometry to an NVIDIA Orin Nano industrial computer. The platform is intended for locomotion, perception and autonomy development on complex ground, giving researchers one physical system for experimenting with wheeled efficiency and leg-assisted obstacle traversal.
