Dingo-O is Clearpath Robotics' compact omnidirectional indoor research robot. Four mecanum wheels, four module bays, ROS 2 support and accessible payload mounting make it a configurable base for navigation, perception and mobile-manipulation development.
About
Dingo-O is the omnidirectional variant of Clearpath Robotics' compact Dingo indoor research platform. Four mecanum wheels let it translate laterally as well as drive and rotate, while four internal module bays accept batteries, onboard computing or networking equipment. External payload mounts, accessible power and reconfigurable I/O support cameras, lidars and manipulators.
The platform combines an Ubuntu computer or Jetson developer kit with a microcontroller that manages motor control, power monitoring, I/O and the integrated IMU over a 100 Mbps Ethernet link. ROS 2 Jazzy drivers and Gazebo, RViz and MoveIt integration support navigation, mapping, perception and mobile-manipulation development. Clearpath offers configured Vision, IndoorNav and Kinova Gen3 Lite packages for more complete research systems.
