Comau N-220 is a high-payload industrial robot arm for large-part and tool handling. Its 220 kg wrist payload supports high-throughput automotive and general manufacturing applications.
About
Comau N-220-2.7 is a six-axis industrial robot with a 220 kg wrist payload and 2,670 mm horizontal reach. It repeats to 0.05 mm and accepts an additional 50 kg load on the forearm. A nitrogen balancing system expands the rear working area, while the hollow forearm can route an optional dress package toward axis five for tooling and process services.
The floor-mounted arm weighs 1,193 kg and carries IP65 protection. Comau pairs it with the C5G Plus controller and e-Motion 3.0 algorithms for path control, cycle time and multi-arm programming. Exact-model applications span material handling, machine tending, assembly, spot welding, dispensing, gluing, 3D printing, foundry work and palletizing. N-220 is separate from the similarly rated NJ-220-2.7, which uses a different architecture and reach specification.
