DENSO VMB comprises the VMB-2515 and VMB-2518 six-axis robots, both rated for 25 kg payload. Their maximum reaches are 1,506 and 1,804 mm, with respective published reference cycles of 0.29 and 0.31 seconds and ±0.05 mm repeatability. The arms use AC servomotors and brakes on all axes. The shorter model weighs 230 kg and the longer model 250 kg, giving integrators two reach options within the 25 kg load class.
The family is aimed at palletizing, packaging and material handling, with expanded internal air, signal, valve and EtherCAT routing intended to reduce external dress around the arm. DENSO lists a standard configuration alongside IP67 dust-and-splash and ISO Class 5 cleanroom versions for electronics, food, pharmaceutical and medical-device processes. Each environmental rating belongs to its selected configuration. WINCAPS Plus provides programming and simulation functions, while achievable cycle time depends on payload, inertia, trajectory, tooling and the selected controller and installation.
