VS-087 is the longer-reach member of DENSO's compact VS-068/087 pair. The six-axis arm reaches 905 mm, carries 7 kg and is specified at ±0.03 mm repeatability. DENSO publishes a 0.34-second reference cycle for the model and a slim 95 mm arm width, allowing it to work inside constrained equipment and closely spaced automation cells.
Floor, wall and ceiling mounting support different cell layouts. Available environmental configurations include dust- and splash-resistant versions, an IP67 protected version, ISO 5 or ISO 3 cleanroom models and ESD or ATEX options for applicable markets. An optional communication flange brings a 17-wire signal cable and Ethernet connection to the sixth-axis flange, simplifying camera or electric-hand wiring. The product is used for assembly, inspection and material handling across electronics, automotive, medical-device, pharmaceutical, food, plastics and metal-processing equipment.
