DENSO VSG is a compact six-axis robot family with 7 kg payload, 650 or 850 mm arm lengths and environmental variants for fast factory automation.
About
DENSO VSG is a compact six-axis articulated family built around 650 and 850 mm arm-length configurations. Both carry up to 7 kg when the wrist remains within the stated downward-angle condition; outside ±45 degrees, DENSO limits payload to 6 kg. The mounting-face motion radii are 733 and 934 mm, with ±0.02 and ±0.03 mm repeatability respectively.
DENSO publishes 0.49- and 0.59-second basic cycles in the family overview, while its detailed specification table lists 0.4 and 0.5 seconds under a separate 1 kg reference-cycle definition, so both figures require their source context. Standard arms are IP40; dust-and-splash models are IP54 with an IP65 wrist, and cleanroom configurations are available. All models support overhead mounting. A 200 × 200 mm installation footprint, absolute encoders, integrated air lines and user signals simplify dense assembly, inspection and machine-tending cells.
