FANUC CRX-25iA is a six-axis collaborative robot for high-payload production work. Its standard mode carries 25 kg across a 1,889 mm reach, while a selectable 30 kg mode uses a restricted 1,756 mm operating envelope. The 135 kg arm repeats to ±0.05 mm and carries IP67 protection across the body, wrist and J3 arm for demanding factory cells.
Operators can teach motion by guiding the arm or using FANUC's tablet interface with drag-and-drop programming. The long reach supports case palletising, and a Servo Torch configuration has been demonstrated for lead-through-taught welding. Force detection stops motion after contact with a person or object, supporting collaborative deployment after an application-specific risk assessment. FANUC specifies up to eight years of maintenance-free operation for the CRX family.
