About

About FANUC M-2000iA/1200

M-2000iA/1200 is an ultra-heavy six-axis handling robot built around a 1,200 kg standard wrist payload, with a 1,350 kg option, and a 3,734 mm reach. The mechanical unit weighs 8,600 kg and provides ±0.18 mm repeatability. FANUC pairs the model with the R-30iB Plus controller and protects the body to IP54 as standard, with an IP56 option; the wrist and J3 arm are IP67.

Its 1,250 mm wrist offset and large vertical envelope are intended for vehicle bodies, castings, structural parts and other loads normally moved by cranes, lifters or multiple conventional robots. FANUC lists palletizing, assembly, dispensing, material removal and handling among compatible application families, but the delivered workflow depends on engineered grippers, fixtures and safeguarding. The model remains commercially supported even though the 2,300 kg M-2000iA/2300 later surpassed it at the top of the series.
