About

About CP500L

Kawasaki CP500L is a four-axis palletizing robot for end-of-line and distribution cells. It carries up to 500 kg across a 3,255 mm reach and repeats to ±0.5 mm at the wrist flange. Kawasaki specifies approximately 1,000 cycles per hour using a standard motion pattern of 400 mm vertical, 2,000 mm horizontal and 400 mm vertical travel.

The 1,650 kg mechanical unit mounts on the floor and works with Kawasaki's F03 controller, with a stated 12 kVA power requirement. Its working envelope and 250 kg·m² allowable wrist inertia accommodate large cases, bags and complete pallet layers when paired with application-specific tooling. The CP500L remains a distinct 500 kg model within the CP family, alongside lower-payload CP180L and CP300L robots and the 700 kg CP700L.
