MID-70

MID-70 is Livox's compact non-repetitive-scanning lidar for low-speed autonomous vehicles and mobile robots. It combines a 70.4-degree circular field of view, 5 cm minimum detection distance, up to 260 m reflectivity-dependent range and IP67 protection in a 580 g package.

About

About MID-70

MID-70 uses a coaxial, non-repetitive scanning pattern to build increasingly dense point clouds over time without a conventional multi-line rotating laser assembly. Its circular 70.4-degree field of view and 5 cm minimum detection distance reduce close-range blind zones for robots operating in airports, malls, hospitals and other complex environments.

The 905 nm Class 1 sensor outputs 100,000 points per second in single-return mode or 200,000 with dual returns. Detection range varies from 90 m at 10% reflectivity to 260 m at 80%; the 580 g IP67 unit draws 8 W and communicates over 100 Mbps Ethernet.
