RG2-FT is OnRobot's electric two-finger gripper with force, torque and proximity sensing in each fingertip. Its 100 mm adjustable stroke, 3-40 N grip force and 2 kg force-fit or 4 kg form-fit payload support feedback-controlled manipulation in collaborative workcells.
About
RG2-FT combines an electric parallel gripper with six-axis force and torque sensing plus proximity detection at the fingertips. The sensor data lets a robot detect part position and contact, verify grip quality and handle insertion or assembly tasks without a separate wrist-mounted force/torque sensor.
The 0.98 kg tool provides a 100 mm adjustable stroke, 3-40 N gripping force and IP54 protection. OnRobot rates it for payloads up to 2 kg in force-fit grasps and 4 kg in form-fit grasps, with adjustable speed and a built-in tilt bracket for alignment.
