RealSense D405 is a compact global-shutter stereo depth camera for close-range robotic grasping, inspection and three-dimensional measurement.
About
RealSense D405 is a short-range stereo depth camera that produces aligned depth and RGB data without a separate colour sensor. Its ideal working range is seven to 50 centimetres, with an 87-by-58-degree field of view, depth output up to 1280 by 720 pixels and frame rates up to 90 frames per second. The 42-millimetre-square peripheral weighs 60 grams.
Global-shutter imagers support moving scenes, while onboard processing computes depth before data reaches the host. RealSense specifies depth accuracy of plus or minus two percent at 50 centimetres and minimum object detection below one millimetre at seven centimetres. USB connectivity and the cross-platform SDK support integration into robot grippers, produce-picking systems, defect-inspection equipment and other close-perception applications.
