About RobotStudio Suite
RobotStudio uses the same virtual controller software as an ABB production controller, allowing engineers to test robot programmes, I/O and motion behaviour in a three-dimensional model before equipment is installed. CAD geometry can be converted into paths, with automatic planning and collision analysis used to refine reach, cycle time and cell layout.
The suite also models swept volumes, cables and dress packs and can analyse motion signals and energy use. Scan-to-Path and augmented-reality tools connect physical workspaces to the simulation, while cloud collaboration lets several teams review the same cell. An integrated assistant supports RAPID programming and troubleshooting without interrupting the running production system.
