About

About Alphasense Position

Sevensense Alphasense Position is an industrial visual-SLAM system for mobile-robot localization. It processes up to eight camera streams in real time and outputs full three-dimensional maps and pose estimates, with positioning accuracy stated down to one centimetre. Compact and Extended configurations support either grouped or independently placed cameras.

The system localizes indoors, outdoors and across mixed environments, including ramps, uneven floors and changing spaces around people. Automatic calibration and fleet map sharing reduce deployment effort across multiple vehicles. Alphasense Position supplies positioning and mapping; obstacle avoidance and complete navigation behaviour require the broader host-robot autonomy stack or Alphasense Autonomy product.
