Smartmicro DRVEGRD 171 is a 76-77 GHz front radar for assisted and autonomous vehicle perception. Three operating modes span close-range sensing from 0.2 m to extra-long-range detection at 240 m, while a ±50° azimuth and ±10° elevation field of view covers the forward scene. The sensor returns up to 1,024 cloud points per cycle for vehicles, pedestrians and obstacles.

Extra-long-range, extra-medium-range and short-range modes trade distance against accuracy, reaching stated range accuracy of 0.6 m, 0.25 m and 0.1 m respectively. The 122 × 171 × 48 mm housing weighs no more than 455 g, consumes up to 7 W and updates within 55 ms. CAN FD and 100BASE-T1 Ethernet are standard interfaces, with 1000BASE-T1 available for radar-cube streaming.
