May 4, 2021 · Commercial Order · Accerion · Localization

Accerion identified KuMaTech as a customer using Accerion sensor technology across KuMaTech automated guided vehicles.

  • KuMaTech's AGV line included Accerion sensor technology, safety scanners and automatic charging.
  • The vehicles were positioned for internal logistics automation with modular designs and up to 1,000 kg payload capacity.
  • The customer reference showed Accerion localization technology moving into AGV supplier programs.

Accerion develops infrastructure-free optical positioning sensors for automated guided vehicles and autonomous mobile robots. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Venlo, its downward-looking modules use natural floor features to measure displacement without tape, reflectors or external beacons. The Triton product targets sub-millimetre docking, virtual line following and high-precision navigation in manufacturing and logistics.
