Saildrone opens European HQ and names three regional build partners
Saildrone opened its European headquarters in Copenhagen and disclosed European manufacturing programmes for Spectre and Surveyor vessels and Surveyor wings.

Evidence notes
- Van der Valk Shipyard will build the first European 52-metre Saildrone Spectre in the Netherlands.
- Umoe Mandal will produce the next-generation Surveyor in Norway, while Southern Spars will manufacture Surveyor wings in Poland.
- The Copenhagen base will support European deployment, maintenance, piloting, mission management, vehicle assembly and technical operations.

Saildrone builds and operates uncrewed surface vehicles for maritime intelligence, ocean mapping, ISR and environmental monitoring. Its platforms combine wind or solar power, onboard sensing and autonomy for long-endurance ocean missions.
