Saildrone and Lockheed demonstrate missile launch from USV
Saildrone and Lockheed Martin demonstrated two JAGM launches from a Surveyor USV integrated with a dual launcher and ARES fire-control system.

Evidence notes
- The Surveyor acted on target data for a surrogate high-speed surface craft during the live-fire exercise near Hawaii.
- The team moved from concept to demonstration in six months in partnership with the U.S. Navy.
- A separate passive electronic-warfare test used the Surveyor with an MH-60S helicopter to detect, classify and identify a surrogate threat radar.
Company context
Saildrone builds and operates uncrewed surface vehicles for maritime intelligence, ocean mapping, ISR and environmental monitoring. Its platforms combine wind or solar power, onboard sensing and autonomy for long-endurance ocean missions.
