About Clearpath Robotics

Clearpath Robotics supplies configurable mobile bases for research teams building navigation, perception and manipulation systems. Jackal and Husky cover compact and mid-size unmanned ground work, Warthog provides an amphibious high-payload platform, and Dingo, Ridgeback and TurtleBot 4 address indoor development and education. Husky A300 adds a weatherproof chassis and expanded compute and payload interfaces for current ROS 2 programmes.

Each platform arrives with supported drivers, onboard sensing and mechanical or electrical interfaces for additional cameras, LiDAR, arms and scientific instruments. Jackal includes GPS, IMU and an onboard computer for field autonomy, while Warthog carries up to 272 kg and can travel through mud, snow and water at speeds up to 18 km/h. Developers retain access to the ROS software layer and documentation, allowing them to change algorithms and hardware rather than work through a closed fleet system. Clearpath is part of Rockwell Automation but remains focused on research and development platforms distinct from the production-oriented OTTO AMR line.
