3DM-CV7-GNSS/INS is MicroStrain by HBK’s compact dual-frequency GNSS-aided inertial navigation module for embedded systems.
About
3DM-CV7-GNSS/INS is an OEM navigation module that combines tactical-grade inertial sensing with two onboard dual-frequency GNSS receivers. Its extended Kalman filter produces position, velocity and attitude data at up to 1,000 hertz, using accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and barometer measurements alongside satellite observations. The board weighs 15.6 grams and measures 38 by 30 by 10.2 millimetres.
Dual antennas support heading determination, while GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo, SBAS, BeiDou and NavIC signals broaden satellite availability. The module accepts 3.2–5.2 volts, typically consumes 0.896 watts and operates from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. TTL serial, USB and GPIO interfaces connect it to a host computer or controller. It supplies navigation states to a wider mobile, marine or aerial system and does not perform vehicle motion control itself.
