About RMD-X Planetary Actuator Family

RMD-X is MyActuator’s planetary actuator family for robot joints and other compact rotary axes. The range combines a brushless motor, planetary reduction stage, encoder electronics and motor control in an integrated cylindrical module. Current product generations span compact X2 and X4 units through larger X8, X10, X12 and X15 models, allowing designers to select different torque, diameter and reduction configurations.

V4 and V4.1 variants add combinations of dual encoders, EtherCAT, CAN bus, RS485, hollow-shaft layouts and alternative cable exits. The recorded 24-volt, 9:1, 32-newton-metre configuration describes one X8 family member and is not a universal rating for every RMD-X actuator. The family is a motion component: a robot controller and mechanical assembly determine the joint trajectory and application workflow.
