Atoms raises $1.7B
Atoms raised $1.7 billion in debt and equity led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Uber, Bain Capital, Fifth Wall, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan among the participants.
The company is led by Uber co-founder and former CEO Travis Kalanick and is the renamed parent of City Storage Systems, the group built around CloudKitchens.
Atoms now spans food infrastructure, mining and transport automation. Its mining division includes Pronto, the autonomous-haulage company founded by former Uber engineer Anthony Levandowski, while Atoms Transport is developing infrastructure and platforms for autonomous machines.
Humanoid raises $152M
Humanoid closed a $152 million Series A at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation, taking total funding to $270 million. The round was led by Prime Movers Lab, with Bosch and Schaeffler participating as strategic investors.
The capital will support the start of mass manufacturing for its wheeled humanoids, beta deployments from Q4 2026 and continued development of its bipedal platform and KinetIQ control system.
Bosch is also Humanoid’s contract-manufacturing partner, providing support across hardware design, production and supply chain. Schaeffler is its preferred supplier for more than half of wheeled-platform actuator demand through 2031 and plans to deploy an estimated 1,000–2,000 Humanoid robots across its factories by 2032.

China’s specialist humanoid layer
AheadForm closed a Series A2 worth several hundred million yuan. It develops hyper-realistic humanoid heads, with the funding allocated to a standardised production line, product expansion and further development.
Futuring Robot completed another Pre-A financing, its third round in roughly six months. The home-robot company says its systems are operating in more than 500 homes and have accumulated over 50,000 service hours.
Yue Quan Bionics closed a several-hundred-million-yuan Pre-A+ round. It develops biomimetic dexterous hands and claims production at the ten-thousand-unit level, with orders above RMB100 million.

The week’s disclosed rounds extended across humanoids, manipulation, industrial and construction robotics, maritime autonomy, sensing and physical-AI infrastructure. The Top 10 ledger appears first, followed by additional financings. Amounts are shown as disclosed; vague Chinese descriptions are preserved without inferred dollar conversions.

World Labs acquires SceniX
World Labs acquired SceniX, a robotics company developing hybrid simulation infrastructure for robot training, evaluation and deployment. Terms were undisclosed.
SceniX was founded by Yunzhu Li and Changxi Zheng to narrow the gap between simulated training and performance on physical robots. Its platform covers data generation, policy training, evaluation and edge-case discovery.
The team is joining Fei-Fei Li’s World Labs, combining SceniX’s simulation and robotics work with World Labs’ spatial-intelligence and world-model technology.
ZenaTech completes its 26th service acquisition
ZenaTech acquired BA Land Professionals, an Ohio surveying company licensed across Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina.
The purchase is its 26th acquisition under a roll-up strategy that buys established surveying and field-service companies, then introduces drones, LiDAR and automated data collection into their existing operations.
BA Land Professionals adds customers across surveying, construction, energy and government work and extends ZenaTech’s Drone-as-a-Service network into four additional licensed markets.
Vicarious Surgical enters liquidation
Vicarious Surgical shareholders approved the company’s dissolution, followed by the transfer of substantially all assets to Vicarious Liquidation for sale and creditor recovery.
The company entered public markets through a $1.1 billion SPAC merger in 2021 to develop a compact surgical robot operating through a single abdominal incision.
Despite FDA Breakthrough Device designation, the system never received FDA authorization or reached commercial sale. Creditors now have priority over liquidation proceeds, and shareholders are not expected to receive a distribution unless assets remain after all liabilities are settled.
IPO and public markets
AgiBot starts the Hong Kong listing process
AgiBot has confirmed that it has started the Hong Kong IPO process.
The company has not disclosed a timetable, offering size or valuation, and no prospectus is public. Reuters previously reported that AgiBot had appointed CITIC Securities, CICC and Morgan Stanley for the proposed listing.
AgiBot said its 15,000th robot rolled off the line in June, less than three months after reaching 10,000. The total spans its full and wheeled humanoid platforms.
Hong Kong alone has at least 46 robotics-related companies in its IPO pipeline, representing more than 10% of applicants, according to Bloomberg data.
The move adds AgiBot to that wider listing wave alongside Unitree’s Shanghai STAR Market route and LimX Dynamics’ recent pre-IPO financing.
Watchlist
Genesis AI is reportedly in talks to raise about $500 million at a $3 billion pre-money valuation. Bloomberg reported that existing investor Premji Invest is discussing leading the round, with HSG and Northzone also considering participation. Talks remain ongoing, terms could change and no financing has been announced.
Genesis emerged from stealth in July 2025 with a $105 million seed round co-led by Eclipse and Khosla Ventures. It initially focused on a universal robotics foundation model and simulation platform, but has since expanded into hardware through GENE-26.5, the Eno wheeled robot and a proprietary dexterous hand developed and manufactured with Wuji.
